El pasado septiembre colaboré con El Palomar, un espacio de exposición, performance y encuentro entre artistas que basan su trabajo entorno a lo queer, creando el lugar idóneo para debatir y permitir la evolución de determinadas teorías sobre género y sexualidad.

Su proyecto en aquel entonces trataba de recuperar un artista olvidado, Ismael Smith, y revisitarlo en clave queer. Confeccioné parte de los trajes que se utilizaron para la performance en el MNAC vistiendo a los personajes de una forma andrógina. Narcissique Couture ha evolucionado a una concepción del diseño de moda como algo independiente al género. Es por ello que se está trabajando en una nueva línea de ropa y accesorios que no pertenecerán exclusivamente a un género, sino que estarán pensados para distintos tipos de cuerpo.

Last September I was collaborating with El Palomar, a space for exhibition, performance and meeting between artists who base their work around queer, creating the perfect place to discuss and allow the evolution of certain theories about gender and sexuality.

Their project at the time was to recover a forgotten artist, Ismael Smith, and to reinterpret him in a queer way. I made some of the costumes that were used in the performance at MNAC, dressing the characters in a very androgynous manner. Narcissique Couture has evolved to a new point of view where fashion design is independent to gender. For this reason, we are now working on a new clothing and accessories line that won't be related to a particular gender, as it will be created for different kind of bodies.
